[MPlayer-users] Can't get -vo yuv4mpeg to write a good file - color "stays put" in stream.yuv

Given a 23.976 fps file at 608x274 resolution, I can't
get -vo yuv4mpeg to write a good file.  When I play the
resulting stream.yuv, the luminance is OK but the color
"stays put" at wherever it was in the first frame.  What
is going on here?  I have spent a while googling and
reading and experimenting and I can't make it work.

Please cc me directly if possible (as I am not subscribed
to the list).  I will also watch the archive for a response.

Meanwhile, thanks for a great tool.  The detelecine
filter is outstanding.  (Now that I have it figured out.)
