[MPlayer-users] Poor recording quality

Hi,

The sound is un-naturally shrill and the image appears to be a bit jumpy, possibly
frames are being dropped. The command line used with mencoder and the output
is given below. Can someone please point out the problem?

The capture played back with mplayer (and sound with:
  sox -w  -r 32000 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp1 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp) appear to be fine.
