I've often had problems with the extra VOB files - usually there's no audio or 
it's the wrong language, but playing them with -aid 0x80 to force an audio 
track usually fixes it.  I think it's because of the way the VOBs are split 
up, because if you join them all together into one large file (e.g. with 
"cat") then it works perfectly.
