I actually played with the avi container idea and it gets sound but the sound fizzes a little and about 60% of the captures end up with a error in the first few seconds that crash the decoder which even though I have had perfectly watchable caps from this it is not reliable enough. out of 20 1 minute caps only one played right through and had perfect sound
