Hi,

[this was already posted few weeks ago, but went unnoticed]

Platform: Pentium3 Tualatin, 512MB RAM, Red Hat 9, kernel 2.4.22,
             libc 2.3.2, X 4.3.0, gcc 3.2.2, ld 2.13.90.0.18 20030206,
             binutils 2.13.90.0.18 20030206

MPlayer : CVS 2003-08-24 (but seems not specific to that version)

I've found troublesome videos (using Indeo codec) from Intel, at the
following URL:

http://www.intel.com/research/mrl/research/lfm/

There a 3 videos. The biggest one (around 32MB) plays fine. The two
others (3.4MB and 4.1MB) crash (signal 8) before displaying anything.

The behaviour seems deterministic (ie: crashes every single time).

Here's the complete output from MPlayer:

MPlayer interrupted by signal 8 in module: decode_video
- MPlayer crashed by bad usage of CPU/FPU/RAM.
Recompile MPlayer with --enable-debug and make a 'gdb' backtrace and
  disassembly. For details, see DOCS/en/bugreports.html#crash
- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen.
It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your
gcc version. If you think it's MPlayer's fault, please read
DOCS/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We can't
and
won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a
possible bug.
