[MPlayer-users] Preserving video filters when loading a new movie (loadfile in -slave mode)

Is there a way to preserve video filters when one loads a different file
(via loadfile in slave mode)?  It appears that when I "loadfile" a new
movie the filters (like gamma, crop, etc) are removed.  It does make
sense, of course, but I'm looking for a way to either preserve them, or
be able to reconfigure them from slave mode.
