Excuse my stupidity but when searching for
"ANS_LENGTH" or "get_time_length" I do only get results
which tell me that it is possible in some files (maybe ogg)
and a lot of patches but no real info about why ogg is not 
possible (I am not that much a C-programmer but I did have 
a look into vorbis/vorbisfile.h, which seems to provide the 
neccessary functions, doesn't it).
