[MPlayer-users] Current CVS breaks playing asx-over-http streams

SSIA - Several asx streams that work with CVS from about 
a month ago break with current CVS, e.g.
http://www.researchchannel.org/webcast/asx/rtv-lan.asx

The error message is always a variant of:
Connecting to server www.researchchannel.org[140.142.19.76]:80 ...
size_confirm mismatch!: 30835 28271
Error while parsing chunk header
Unknown protocol: http
asf_streaming_start failed
Unable to open URL: http://www.researchchannel.org/webcast/asx/rtv-lan.asx
Option stream url: This URL doesn't have a hostname part.
