[MPlayer-users] BroadQ questions

I've turned into an mplayer junkie.  I've recently picked up the BroadQ 
media player for the PS2.  I noticed that there has been some code in 
ffmpeg passed back and forth.  I have one simple question that I've 
tried to figure out for 2 days now.
How do I rip a dvd video and encode it so BroadQ will recognize it?  
I've tried every flavor of DivX encoding but the video freezes and 
corrupts.  The audio plays nicely.
