[MPlayer-users] dxr2 lockup problem

it seems like the dxr2 card only locks up after using the card for a while 
when linux is setup for an ide burner with the following in lilo.conf

image="/boot/vmlinuz"
        label="vmlinuz"
        root="/dev/hda1"
        read-only
        append="hdc=ide-scsi"
==========
but with the following it doesn't seem to lockup

image="/boot/vmlinuz"
        label="vmlinuz"
        root="/dev/hda1"
        read-only
#       append="hdc=ide-scsi"

if you need more info than that tell me what you need. i can't do a gdb 
backtrace because mplayer locks up too
