[MPlayer-users] Interoperability

Hi , 

I'd like to know if mplayer could view streamed video
trough a network (multicast network).

If it's possible ( I am quiet sur of that if I use the
rtp protocol ) does mplayer accept streamed video from
videolan server,videolan  client and from vic ??
