[MPlayer-users] mplayer plugin, -wid and full screen

I'm playing with running the mplayer plugin.
http://mplayerplug-in.sourceforge.net/index.html 
It uses the -wid to place the mplayer image into the browser.

This works great (more on that later.)

The problem comes in when I want to go to full screen - the image just
turns black.  Is there any way to get mplayer to go to full-screen while
using the -wid option?

The one problem with the plugin is that it passes a file URL (file://)
and mplayer does not recognize that.  Since CVS is moving towards a URL
based interface, it would be nice if it recognized the file:// URL as
well.  (Sorry if this in CVS already.)
