I have the problem when trying to watch TV using mplayer that the audio is about 1 seconda ahead of the video, I checked the man page, and it mentions something about using an option called "immediatemode", however, here is the response I get when trying to use it:
command: mplayer -tv driver=v4l:norm=NTSC:width=640:height=480:chanlist=us-bcast:immediatemode=1 -fs tv://4
console output:
Using GNU internationalization

Reading config file /usr/local/etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf
Reading config file /root/.mplayer/config
Error: option 'tv' has no suboption 'immediatemode'
after this, mplayer quits back to the console. Am I missing something here? Is there another way to fix this video delay when watching TV?
Thanks!
