[MPlayer-users] some .mov crash mplayer

some .mov play nicely, other crash, e.g. those from this server:

here is one of the files I tried:

Windows-Users told me, it runs nicely with Quicktime.

the MOVs mplayer can play, 'file' recognizes as well:
t3_tlr_m240_dl.mov:       Apple QuickTime movie file (moov)
trailer_final_640_dl.mov: Apple QuickTime movie file (moov)

those mplayer does not play, 'file' recognizes as 'data'

gdb says:
