[MPlayer-users] sound card recommendation for digital out

Can anyone recommend a good inexpensive sound card that has digital
out?  I cannot seem to eliminate a horrible buzz using my normal sound
card and want to take advantage of the digital input on my receiver.

Someone recommended a sound blaster live who uses the card like this in
windows.  I want to make sure that the digital out for will work in
linux using MPlayer.
