[MPlayer-users] Problems playing extremely large DV-AVI files

I have been using mplayer for about a month now, but I just now have a
need to play very large DV-AVI files generated by Windows Movie Maker
2 as part of its "save to DV-AVI" capability (just a simple frame

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, I had to
interrupt the process once it began parsing because mplayer began to
consume all processor resources at that point and the machine was
basically of unusable.
