You don't have faad enabled in!
But i tried that already and still mplayer says:

> Opening audio decoder: [faad] AAC (MPEG2/4 Advanced Audio Coding)
> ADecoder init failed :(

So i guess the problem must be other in my setup.
I had to compile libsndfile and faad2.
Then, I recompiled MPlayer with faad support.

Btw, i'm using RH80 with gcc 3.2 inside vmware...
