1. NEVER CUT THE OUTPUT OF MPLAYER-V... as i wrote GIVE US THE FULL
OUTPUT .. :) pliz. that's important

is there a specific reason why are you trying to use -vo fbdev?

try these:

mplayer -vo xv filename.avi

mplayer -vo x11 filename.avi

what graphics card are you using?
