? What else could you use an in-line 3d accelerator card for? The 
voodoo2 isn't a standalone card, it's a "companion card", it doesn't 
provide any 2d capabilities.

If you know that the feature doesn't work, then why list it as an 
option, and why list it amongst the "features" of mplayer?
