[MPlayer-users] Using USB and C-media sound devices at the same time

I have installed on my computer the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks (USB sound)
and mymotherboard has the C-media chip built-on. Both sound devices work fine
with mplayerwhen specified correctly; for example;

mplayer -ao oss:/dev/audio ...
mplayer -ao oss:/dev/dsp1 ...

My question is how do I use them both at the same time so I can have 4ch
stereo sound?
My gut feeling is that since KDE uses ARTS, then maybe I can try -ao arts
as long asKDE will use both mixers at the same time. But shouldn't there just be a
switch forMPlayer that allows playing on two sound devices?

Both mixers show on the KDE panel and function correctly now, so I can
play MP3'susing XMMS while at the same time MPlayer will play a movie on the other
sound card.
Thanks,
Shaun
