[MPlayer-users] bitrate problem with -chapter ?

Hi,

I'm trying to rip a j-pop dvd with

for i in `seq 1 21` ;
  do 
  [...]
     mencoder -dvd 1 -chapter "$i"-"$i" -ovc xvid -oac copy [...]
  [...]
done
  
Even if I put some -xvidencopts [...]:bitrate=860, as long as I keep
-chapter, my movie is encoded in a fscking too high bitrate. 
Is that a feature ?
