I have exactly the same problem. Searching the mailing list I also found
2 previous posts from people with this same problem, both with no
replies. I'm not at home now so I don't have the exact specs. I have
about 16 episodes of southpark in RM format, I have the same problem
with all of them. Other formats other than RM are fine. I have no
problem playing them with the realone player for linux (RP 8 ?) (in X).
I have tried both the codecs that come with the standard Real install
and the a tarball of rp9 codecs which was linked to in a message from
this list.
Duron 1.1 Ghz
Matrox G400 DH
Soundblaster Audigy DE
Mplayer CVS from 18/1/2003
Using -vo mga or -vo directfb
-ao oss, emu10k1 drivers from sourceforge.
The audio codec in the files I was playing was also racook.
Cheers,
Graeme
