Hello

i have a problem with several videos, which i resumed to 2 videos: one
that isn't started at all, the second type with hughe rendering errors
(lots of rectangular patches of varying colors all over the place).

Both types of videos are played more or less well by aviplay, not that i
want to step onto any polemic, but to say that somehow the videos should
be playable.

The mplayer version i use is:

mplayer --version

MPlayer CVS-020411-14:03-2.95.4 (C) 2000-2002 Arpad Gereoffy (see DOCS!)

CPU vendor name: GenuineIntel max cpuid level: 2
CPU: Intel Celeron 2/Pentium III Coppermine,Geyserville (Type: 6, Stepping: 10)
Testing OS support for SSE... yes.
Testing OS support for SSE unmasked exceptions... yes.
Tests of OS support for SSE passed.
CPUflags: Type: 6 MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 0 3DNow2: 0 SSE: 1 SSE2: 0
Compiled for x86 CPU with features: MMX MMX2 SSE
You added '--' but no filenames presented!
command line: --version

i just tried to make an upgrade in case that... but i get a problem with
the upgrade of ffmpeg lib:
cvs [update aborted]: connect to
cvs.ffmpeg.sourceforge.net(66.35.250.207):2401 failed: Connection
refused
don't know if its a temporary problem or not, or if this penalizes
mplayer in any sort (didn't try to compile it , since i suspect that
some thing will go wrong :D)

so i there's anything i can do to help debug this (i can upload the
movies somewhere if you want approx 200M each) or any info you might
need... just tell me how to collect it and where to send it...
