Thanks. I was wondering about it (I've only had my TV card since
Thursday, so it's all quite new to me).

yeah. I used divx4 because I thought VirtualDub (I haven't found an
editing program for Linux that does much of anything) couldn't take
lavc encoded files, but I just discovered that I was wrong about that.

I'll try capturing some long files without rgb24 and encode them with
lavc and see if I still get the "duplicate frame" thing.
