Strange, I only have this problem with ac3-mp3 downmixed divx movies. Playing
DVDs is just fine here. liba52 is absolutely capable of decoding ac3 with
DynRangeCompression. Dunno whether you have to ./configure mplayer to use the
external one or whether it uses it's own (the latter IIRC?)
