I have a Brooktree 848 wth a P4 2.0ghz, 512DDR, GeForce 4 mx420 and
nVidias X driver under FreeBSD 4.7.

mplayer -tv on:driver=bsdbt848:input=0:normNTSC:channel=3

This produces a nice picture that is very slow, roughly 1 fps. fxtv
works well with NTSC/M or /J

I tried adjusting the framerate with -fps but it did not make a
diference. What gives?
