[MPlayer-users] How to compile mplayer with lame

Maybe this is stupid question. But I can't find 
answer in documents under the homepage of mplayer.

I have install the lame-libs-3.93.1-1.i386.rpm
and the libmp3lame.so is in /usr/lib.

Then I run ./configure in the dir of mplayer.
But it reports: 
Checking for libmp3lame (for mencoder) ... no
I run ./configure --help, but cann't find which
option to open the lame support.

What shall I do next?
