Hi,

I have a movie here in MPEG-4 AVI format, decoded with...

Opening video decoder: [ffmpeg] FFmpeg's libavcodec codec family
Selected video codec: [ffodivx] vfm:ffmpeg (FFmpeg MPEG-4)
...
VDec: vo config request - 480 x 344 (preferred csp: Planar YV12)
VDec: using Planar YV12 as output csp (no 0)
Movie-Aspect is 1,40:1 - prescaling to correct movie aspect.
VO: [xv] 480x344 => 480x344 Planar YV12
...[output specific issues]...

...which shows very inconsistent behaviour in repect to the display
(window) size. This is a machine with AMD Duron, NVidia Riva TNT and
onboard CL5880 sound.

With -vo x11, the windows is way too high with huge black bars on top
and bottom, but the movie seems to play correctly.

With the -vo xv, the window is way too high and the proportions are
distorted, the movie is played too narrow. The video is top-aligned
until the window is touched and moved with the mouse, at that time, the
video gets vertically centered.

-vo gl, gl2, dga, aa, vesa are fine.

I have a different MPEG-4 movie with:

VDec: vo config request - 608 x 256 (preferred csp: Planar YV12)
VDec: using Planar YV12 as output csp (no 0)
Movie-Aspect is 2,38:1 - prescaling to correct movie aspect.
VO: [x11] 608x256 => 608x256 Planar YV12

It's fine with the x11, xv, dga and sdl drivers.
