Well... i dont know what rmp4 is, if it's really a divx variant,
you can force mplayer to use the codec (see the manpage).
And be carefull when using prebuild mplayer binaries,
especialy Marillat's are known to toggle unreproducable bugs
(dont ask me why). Always check with the official releases.
