[MPlayer-users] mplayer + vesa

Hi!

I want my mplayer to use -vo vesa on my old ATI Rage Pro, to be able to use 
the TVout of this card. It once worked great, but now I reinstalled Linux on 
this box (Gentoo) and it just doesn't work anymore. It allway says: VO: 
Comment: Requires ROOT privileges. But I am root! Although -vo fbdev works, 
but too slow. So what can I do to get it to work?
