No, it doesn't.  I see my mistake now, though.  Anyway, mplayer
shouldn't crash.

Normally, options before the first file apply to all files, those in
between files apply to the file before the option.  (Indeed, it's more
complicated, because play trees are possible.)

`-loop' however is different.  What MPlayer probably tried to do, was
playing the files after `-loop 0' in an endless loop.  However, there
weren't any.
