[MPlayer-users] Cannot install

I really appreciate your help...
I did do that a few minutes ago and it said preparing XXXXX... 100%
and then it looked like it was complete, as it said 1:mplayer, but then
my shell prompt never returned. Again, I quit the session, which I know
is not good, but... it appeared like it was done and wasn't going to do
any more.

So, to summarize, I have run the rpm for common and also non-gui. I
still cannot see mplayer anywhere on the KDE gui.

I am willing to undo everything and start over if it's the right thing
to do, but I will need to know how to un-install.
