The problem is standard avi format doesn't support more than 2Gb.
I like something like this:

file1.avi	(size 2Gb)
file2.avi	(size 2Gb)
...
filen.avi

Hmmm... I don't think this can help...

mencoder quits when the file size is 2Gb.
With some bash script I can record to another file (when mencoder
quits) but I'm sure I will have many lost frames.
