[MPlayer-users] gentoo linux ebuild of mplayer-0.90_rc3 segfaults...

Gentoo linux (www.gentoo.org) has an ebuild that downloads and installs
mplayer, and the latest ebuild of rc3 was segfaulting for alot o people,
as read at http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14479. 
MPlayer segfaulted because the ebuild had the "--enable-shared-pp" switch
on... 
Is this a known problem (and thus the flag really shouldnt be set by
default) or should i send you the ebuild (that contains the build-options)
together with a full bugreport?
