See the other thread about the Xoro HSD 400.

It plays my mencoder-encoded DIVX videos as long as they do not
exceed 720x576 resolution.

It is very cheap, see

http://reichelt.de/inhalt.html?ACTION=3;LASTACTION=4;SORT=artikel.artnr;GRUPPE=I23;WG=0;SUCHE=HSD%20400;ARTIKEL=XORO%2520HSD%2520400%252B%2520BL;START=0;END=15;STATIC=0;FC=667;PROVID=0;TITEL=0

and has some very impressive features for a player of that price.
Can you believe that it even does PAL-Progressive (576p) via its
VGA output? It also provides lots of different video outputs and
SPDIF. I have it connected to my SPDIF-capable receiver and to my
VGA-capable beamer and I am absolutely delighted with the picture
and sound quality I am getting that way.

Carsten.

P.S.: I recommend buying from http://reichelt.de because I really
believe they are Germany's best web store for electronics.
They deliver fast, they charge little for postage and their
prices are always fair, sometimes very low.
