Yes, latest Divx4Linux changed the API in incompatible ways. Current
CVS and the upcoming 1.0pre releases will work with it, but not 0.91.
Anyway it's best to just compile without divx installed; it's not
useful for anything since libavcodec is faster and more compatible.
