GCC 3.3.1 Works For Me(TM).  Check your installed packages: make sure
you don't have a mix of library and -devel packages for new libraries
and old ones.  Make sure symlinks like 'libc.so' and 'libstdc++.so' are 
linked to the correct libraries.
