Hi,
I have troubles playing VCD's with the graphical MPlayer (gmplayer).

With mplayer I can play VCD's with "mplayer vcd://1" without any problems,
although there is a kind of error message:

Playing vcd://1
Unable to open URL: vcd://1
                       ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
What does this mean?

track 01: adr=1 ctrl=6 format=2 00:02:00 mode: 1
track 02: adr=1 ctrl=6 format=2 00:15:53 mode: 1

When trying it with gmplayer, like "gmplayer vcd://1" the following error
message occurs: "MPlayer interrupted by signal 11 in module: open_stream".
Then MPlayer crashes.

This happens with any VCD I have.

I compiled MPlayer from CVS, "MPlayer dev-CVS-030818-10:22-3.3" - the crash
did not occur some time ago, my latest CVS build was ~ 3 Month old.

Another (not very important) problem that also happens only with gmplayer is
the following error message (~ 10 messages/second):
alsa-control: unable to find simple control 'PCM',0 0% 0% 0,0% 0 0 0%

This seems to have no negative effect, the sound is audible. My alsa version
is 0.9.6, with an older alsa version there was no such problem.

Sorry that I did not send a proper bug report but the problem seems quite
common as there are already some similar reports on google groups (but sadly
no posted solution). Anyway I will send a report if it is really needed to
solve the problem.

		Best Regards,
		Hermann
