[MPlayer-users] Support for dualscreen, do I have to use Xine ? :-/

Hi there,

I'm new to this list. I'm sorry if this has already been discussed I wasn't
able to search the archives, is it possible somewhere?

I'm running Linux dualscreen, with NVIDIA drivers. I have it configured so the
TV is right of the computer screen. With Xine I can drag the Movie window to
the second screen and press 'f' for full screen and it maximizes on the
second screen (the TV), thus leaving the first screen completely unaffected
and fully usable for other things.
I haven't been able to do this with mplayer (haven't tried 0.9 stable yet,
tried many of the betas up to rc5). Anyone know if it's possible?

Earlier I did have the second screen set to duplicate the computerscreen,
which worked quite well. But mplayer, with SDL driver has stopped to cycle
through resolutions (might be my configuration) so I can't use it anymore.
Besides, I like having the TV-screen 'rightOf' the Computer-screen now that
KDE supports it so well.

I'm a long time user of mplayer and extremely impressed with the amount of
functionality that has been crammed in there, I'd really like to start using
it again :).

Anyone got a clue what I can do?

Regards,
Robert
