Dear all,

I've recently bought an M-Audio Revolution soundcard. I'm trying to make
MPlayer use it through the alsa-0.9.2 drivers, without succes. The sound plays
just fine, however, the picture stays frozen at what seems to be the first
frame. Seeking is possible, but again, after seeking the picture stays frozen.

Everything works fine with my old Soundblaster 128 PCI, or when playing with

Have other people been able to use MPlayer in combination with this card? If so,
is my .asoundrc ok? Other suggestions?

I'm eager to find out,

Bram Verweij

This works flawlessly:

mplayer -ao alsa9:ens1371 ....

This does not:

mplayer -ao alsa9:ice1724 ....

My setup:

RedHat 9
