[MPlayer-users] avisynth support ?

Hi!

I have read a thread on the net about avisynth porting to linux. I wonder if 
this could be done with mplayer somehow.

What is avisynth ?

It is a frameserver, as I understood incorpareted as codec in windows. Its 
open Source but currently Windows only.

Why ?

Some people say the have very good filter in avisynth. 

I don't know if this can be added as yet another codec or if it would be 
easier to port only the plugin interface/plugins.

Why I ask ?

Because I can't do it :D It is just an idea and maybe it is worth it.
