[MPlayer-users] cannot play real video or real audio files

Please never cut MPlayer output, unless you like to be flamed...

.ra old Realaudio files are not supported. Even if you add a .ra 
demuxer, codecs 14.4 and 28.8 usually found in that files are not 
supported too.

MPlayer can't stream Real rtsp (yet...). If you install live.com 
libraries, you'll be able to play standard (Real does not fully respect 
the standard) rtsp:// streams.

Please try with a local .rm file (not RV10 video or DNET audio, they're 
handled by open source codecs), if it works the codecs are installed 
correctly. If not, please post full output of mplayer -v
