[MPlayer-users] dxr3/hollywood+ and mplayer

I vagely remember being able to play divx files with mplayer thru my h+ 
a long time ago....it hasn't been an issue because i just now began to 
get divx files again....when i use my copy of mplayer (recent cvs) to 
play divx through the h+ it poops on me, i can only play mpeg derived 
streams.

Any help on getting the divx/avi playback to my tv would be appreciated
