[MPlayer-users] -frames plays too many frames

if i want to get a single snap shot out of mplayer, with "-vo jpeg" for 
example, mplayer always gives two images, the first being just a black 
screen. this isn't that great for operating within a wrapper program and 
such like. any chance of this first useless picture removed from the 
equation?

also, mini feature request... could the image file outputs have an 
optional prefix? "-prefix spiderman" -> spiderman_001.jpg etc...
