Welcome to the fabulous world of beta-version programs running as root to
write in /dev/mem ;-)
It makes the same in my xterms, minimizing them solves the problem. That's
a bit harder to minimize the background, but heh.

Btw, if you want a nice, secure screensaver, just randomly replace some
OUTREG()s in vidix driver and you'll get beautifully coloured hardlocks ;)
