[MPlayer-users] mplayer crash with 0.90pre8 (update: also with pre9)

The same thing happens if you use mplayer 0.90pre9 and switch 'old rate control'
and you have bad luck with input video and number of selected b frames

(for example try to encode file 
'ftp://ftp.no.scene.org/scene.org/parties/2002/trsac02/anim/fscked_up_by_jakob_of_schizo.mpg'
 with number of b frames 1)

if you use mplayer 0.90pre9 default rate control it will not crash, but instead it will make very low
bitrate video (thing I wrote about few days ago)

(for example this file from scene.org...
 when I encode it with 0 b-frames and bitrate 16000 result has bitrate more then 3000
 when I encode it with 1 b-frame and bitrate 16000 result has bitrate less then 400

  you may imagine how it looks....
