[MPlayer-users] Gui problems,sound bugs and crashes

Now i'm going to describe what the problem is:
I only have been using the gui (gmplayer) and now with MPlayer-0.90pre9 
stats to happen the situation that after i starts opening a mpeg,asf,avi 
or other kind of video files i receive a message saying this:
Impossible to open/initialise the audio -> NOSOUND
If in the preferences i choose arts it delays too much to stat playing 
the file and sometimes the video turns bad quality and slow,but have 
audio and with othe options also occurs th same or simply don start 
playing the file,crashing gmplayer.
This didn't happened with the pre-release 7
Can you explain me why this happens now? And how to fiz it
