try this:

checkout a new copy of mplayer
then
checkout a new copy of libavcodec

compile..

i know that this sounds unneeded, but i had a compilation error a week
ago, and i tried to update the sources, update libavcodec etc., but the
only thing that helped was to checkout fresh copies...
i still don't know why it helped, but it helped.

bye,
gabor

p.s: or try to compile the new pre-release.. it should have libavcodec
included.
