1. Because sometimes the dvd menus are The Art by themselves. Have you
seen menus for Alien and Aliens?

2. Because navigation through features on feature-packed DVD-s is easier
with menus instead of blind trying -dvd 1-15.

3. Because some people like to have the choice. If I've been using
something that other people tell me is good, I would be using Windows XP
on some shitty P4 Compaq Dell or other Gateway with nvidia gfx and onboard
sound, bought for double tripple or quadrupple the price of my
homebuilt xp1700+mga450+sblive5.1+dxr3 running Linux.
