Hello, I posted this message to the dxr3-devel mailing list and never got
feedback, I hope somebody here can help me.

My problem is I get a kernel oops whenever I use dxr3 output.
I tried with the mplayer 2002-10-13 cvs snapshot, mplayer-0.90pre8 and
mplayer-0.90pre6, built with gcc-3.2 and binutils-2.13.

The strange thing is I never had problems with older kernel and mplayer
versions (same hardware).

Here is the original message:

Hello, I hope this is the place to ask for help on this issue.
My linux-2.4.19 system hangs when using the dxr3 card.
I am using MPlayer-0.90pre8 and em8300-0.12.0 like this:
 mplayer -vo dxr3 <file.mpg>

I get the first frame image in the TV, and then get the following kernel
oops:

My dxr3 used to work with linux-2.4.17, em8300-0.12.0 and an older version of
mplayer (don't remember the version number).
 Any ideas?

 Alan
